The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it deems “unjustified” visa bans issued by the US against five European individuals working on fighting digital hatred and misinformation, an EU official has said.
EU Officials Decry US Action as ‘Coercion’
European leaders including the French president accused the US administration of “bullying and threats”, after the travel bans were placed on figures who have been at the heart of efforts to enact laws regulating US-based technology firms.
